Wilfrid Laurier International College
Wilfrid Laurier International College’s programs and approach to teaching offer international students the opportunity to be fully prepared for university studies and have a smooth transition to Wilfrid Laurier University. Their comprehensive programming, both academic and extracurricular, allows students to explore and navigate their own personal journey to success.
University Transfer Program (UTP) Stage I is an eight-month, pre-university foundation program designed as a bridge between secondary school and university-level study. University Transfer Program (UTP) Stage II is a first-year university program designed to support student transition to study in Canada. Following successful completion of the UTP II, students will progress to second-year studies at Wilfrid Laurier University.
WLIC support is always close by, with qualified staff and student peer mentors are available, both online and in person. Their advising and wellness teams guide students with everything from course planning and choosing a major, to making friends & self-care and are dedicated to help student achieve success in their academics and in life.
Wilfrid Laurier International College is located on Laurier’s Brantford campus. University buildings are interwoven into the downtown core, so students are close to classes, residence and amenities. Brantford’s world-class trails, local history, and cultural celebrations means there’s always something to see and do.
