About the course

This undergraduate certificate consists of 15 credits (6 credits of prerequisites and an additional 9 hours of certificate course requirements) at the 3000-4000 level with the goal of providing students with the linguistic skills and cultural competency necessary for an increasingly global community, focusing on building cultural background and communicative proficiency while providing profession-specific language and cultural experience. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of North Florida

Admissions decisions at UNF are rendered based on academic merit. The state of Florida has implemented minimum admission standards for freshman applicants to all Florida public state universities. In order to be considered, students must have a minimum 2.5 recalculated GPA on a 4.0 scale and meet minimum test score requirements.

　　Regardless of when they graduated from high school, students applying as first-time-in-college (FTIC) applicants are required to submit either SAT, ACT and/or CLT test scores. UNF does not require the essay section of the SAT or ACT.

　　A minimum TOEFL score of 79 internet-based (550 paper-based or 213 computer-based)

　　A band score of 6.5 on the University of Cambridge IELTS
