About the course
The Department of Justice Studies offers a Paralegal Studies Certificate Program for post-baccalaureate students, which includes a balanced and varied background in the legal fundamentals, appropriate skills and practical field work experience necessary for employment as a legal assistant. The program develops intellectual and analytical skills, educates students for direct employment opportunities in the paralegal field and provides additional career possibilities in combination with a student?s undergraduate degree. How to apply
Entry requirements for Montclair State University
The Graduate School requires the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree in order to be eligible to apply for a graduate program. A minimum TOEFL score of at least 83 on the internet-based test or 550 on the paper-based test is required. For IELTS test takers, the minimum required score is 6.5. There are no minimum GPA scores set by The Graduate School.
