About the course
The School of Mathematical Sciences at QMUL is home to a thriving community of postgraduate research students currently numbering approximately 90 students. 87% of our research is rated world-leading or internationally excellent (REF 2014). We advertise a number of funded PhD projects throughout the year and we accept applications for self-funded full or part-time projects all year round. Research in the School of Mathematical Sciences covers a broad range of key subjects in pure and applied mathematics, and is consolidated into research groups reflecting the School’s key strengths.
