About the course

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Sheffield have a number of fully funded scholarships for suitably qualified students wishing to study for a PhD. Scholarships are available to cover the university tuition fees and maintenance costs . All applicants are welcome to apply irrespective of their funding status and applications are open throughout the year. 　　Entry requirements vary depending on what you study ? some subjects require a masters degree, others ask for a good undergraduate degree (a 2:1 or a First).

　　IELTS - Overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, TOEFL - Overall score of 88 with a minimum of 19 in Listening, 20 in Reading, 22 in Speaking and 19 in Writing, Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) - Overall score of 61 with a minimum of 56 in each component.
