About the course

The 3-7 Primary PGCE has been designed to enable you to become a primary teacher with an early years specialism.

　　By developing your knowledge and understanding of research, with an unrelenting focus on what makes a difference in the classroom, you will develop a strong theoretical framework to your practice. Your practice, refined both on-campus and on-placement, will draw directly on this research.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Oxford Brookes University

GCSE: Passes at GCSE Level 4 (grade C) or above in English Language, Mathematics and Science (or equivalent). There will be brief assessments of English and mathematics competence at interview. Recognised UK degree, or degree equivalent, typically at second class honours. Before applying for the course, it is strongly recommended that you gain school experience.
