About the course

Develop a mechanical engineering design skillset that's in high demand. In your first year, you’ll build a strong foundation of fundamental engineering knowledge. In your second year, you’ll study various concepts of advanced design and manufacturing, such as: CAD/CAM, mould design, plant design, finite element analysis, jig and fixture design and additive manufacturing.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses:

　　One English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or ENG4U)

　　plus

　　Grade 12 Mathematics for College Technology (MCT4C) or Grade 11 Functions (MCF3M) or Grade 11 Functions and Relations (MCR3U) or any Grade 12 (U) Mathematics

　　TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)- 80 (20L,W,S,R) iBT (Internet-based TOEFL) or 550 Paper-based. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic Module– 6- Overall Band Score with no Band below 5.5.
