About the course
The business human resources diploma program is about finding value in people. You’ll learn business basics first - accounting, marketing and computer applications. You'll study labour relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment and training. In your last semester, in-class students will be mentored by people in the industry, in real HR departments. You'll make connections – networking with your classmates, professors and HR professionals. Upon completion, you'll have developed a diverse career portfolio for the dynamic HR world. When you graduate from business human resources, you’ll have completed six of the nine required courses for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. Graduates who meet admission requirements are also eligible for transfer to the Business Administration - Human Resources Advanced Diploma where they will have the opportunity to achieve the balance of the CHRP/CHRL credits.
