About the course

This programme aims to introduce students to the skills required in food and beverage service, including barista, basic cookery, front of house operations, reception and accommodation. With the goal to give ākonga a broad understanding of roles within the hospitality sector. Students will be shown how to be competent employees who can work in various entry level and junior positions in commercial hospitality environments.
