About the course

The MSc Law & Professional Practice is a two-year postgraduate degree, with the first year available as a stand-alone Postgraduate Diploma. It provides a comprehensive and rigorous introduction to law and practice in preparation for the SQE and a legal career as a solicitor or barrister in an evolving and competitive sector.

　　The programme is open to graduates obtaining a higher 2:1 degree classification or above who have not undertaken, nor are currently undertaking, legal education or training which substantially comprises the study of, and/or practice in, the laws of England and Wales. How to apply

Entry requirements for King's College London

All transcripts of your previous qualifications. Two academic references. 2:1 undergraduate honours degree in a relevant subject (e.g. law, engineering, surveying), or other equivalent professional or academic qualifications. In order to meet the academic entry requirements for this programme you should have a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree with a final mark of at least 60% or above in the UK marking scheme. If you are still studying you should be achieving an average of at least 60% or above in the UK marking scheme. IELTS (Academic) - 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill. TOEFL iBT - 100 overall with a minimum of 25 in writing and 23 in each of the other skills. TOEFL pBT - 160.
