About the course
Primary Care research has particular strengths in the use and delivery of health services, especially in terms of analysis of large data sets from general practice and other sources, and the evaluation of interventions. Our main research activities are in the following fields applied genetics and ethnicity, bio-behavioural approaches to optimising health and healthcare, primary care epidemiology, injury prevention, medicines management, tobacco control. There are also opportunities to undertake supervised research into medical education, including undergraduate and postgraduate medical curriculum development and evaluation, the use of virtual learning environments, and online assessment in medical education and problem based learning. How to apply
Entry requirements for University of Nottingham
2.2 (or equivalent) degree in a relevant subject and two references including at least one academic reference. IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any element. From 1 October 2022 the entry requirement will be 7.0 with no less than 6.0 in any element. TOEFL (iBT) 100 (with a minimum of 20 in speaking and 19 in all other elements)
