Entry requirements for University of California
3.00 GPA (M.S.) and 3.25 (Ph.D.) based on last 2 yrs of Bachelor's Degree. 300 GRE (Verbal + Quantitative) score. TOEFL (International Students) score of 550 Written / 213 Computer/80 Internet base. One set of official transcripts are required and once admitted, students will be asked to send a final transcript with the degree(s) posted. International students are required to submit two transcripts, one in the original language and the other in English. Copies of international degree certificates are also required if the student has graduated. Three letters of recommendation are required and at least two of these letters should be requested from professors in your major subject. Ielts - The minimum acceptable overall score is 7 with no score less than 6 on any individual component.
A minimum of a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or B-equivalent (if GPA is not on a 4.0 scale).
