About the course
Our Master of Science (M.S.) in Molecular Biotechnology program prepares technically oriented people in recombinant DNA and molecular biological techniques such that they will be able to continuously maintain and update their theoretical knowledge and technical skills in this rapidly changing field.

How to apply
Entry requirements for Wayne State University
In addition, applicants are expected to have attained a level of scholarship in the baccalaureate program equal to a grade point average of 3.0 or better, including adequate preparation in biological sciences and supporting courses in chemistry, physics and mathematics. Normally, the entering student will be expected to have fulfilled the equivalent of the requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree at Wayne State University and to satisfy any deficiencies by course work before becoming a candidate for the advanced degree. Applicants must also write the general portion of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and these should be no more then 4 years old. To be seriously considered, students should obtain an aggregate score of at least 1600 using the older GRE exam format or a combined score of at least 1000 for verbal and quantitative sections and 3.0 on the analytical writing section of the newer GRE format. TOEFL - 79 internet-based (IBTT), 550 paper-based (PBTT). IELTS - 6.5.
