About the course

Our Master's Program's main objective is to fully prepare students to pursue successful careers as professional mathematicians working in business, industry and education. Program requirements include a spectrum of mathematics classes, complemented by required courses taken outside the Department and targeted to the specific track chosen. These courses provide breadth of training and depth of knowledge in an area of specialization and they are complemented by various internship opportunities and teaching experiences for the students.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Texas A and M University - College Station

Official transcripts and degree statements from every senior-level institution of higher education attended (transcripts from community colleges are not required). General and Math Subject GRE scores taken within 5 years of the date application was received (the GRE Subject score is only required for PhD applicants). In order to be admitted, students must have achieved at least the following minimum required scores on the indicated tests: TOEFL: 80, IELTS: 6.0,PBT- 550, PTE: 53. Texas A&M will only waive the TOEFL/IELTS/PTE if the student scores at least 400 (old scale system) or 146 (new scale system) on the verbal portion of the general GRE OR if the student has completed a bachelor's degree with all years of attendance at a US institution (having just an MS from a US institution is not sufficient).
