Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies- Program Leadership

About the course

Program Leadership addresses the findings through research to provide offerings of improvement in the areas of program/project management, program analysis and program leadership development. These initiatives focus on making data-driven decisions that allow for the implementation of processes to be reliant on data in performing supposing analysis as well as in making decisions. The skills acquired offer flexibility for professional growth and advancement in nearly all industries.

A concentration in Program Leadership prepares students to develop the skills to be more competitive in the overall market place and become leaders in their careers. The skills and insights students will acquire can help master best leadership practices, gain the expertise to setting strategic goals, manage transitions in a organizational structure, and become proficient to navigate through times of change to move forward.

The general requirements for the Program Leadership concentration are the same as the other Interdisciplinary Studies programs: 30 credit hours required, no more than 18 hours in any one academic area, etc. (see Admissions and Planning). Courses for credit must be approved by the program director before you register each semester. Knowledge of at least one foreign language or an acceptable equivalent is required for the Master of Arts degree, but not for the Master of Science.
