About the course

The MSc program in Integrated Studies in Land and Food Systems provides opportunities for students to broaden their knowledge base and gain research experiences. ILSFS students work on diverse and often interdisciplinary research topics that address priority food systems questions and challenges ranging in scope from food production, processing, distribution, access, consumption, to management of food waste. Applied research projects in ISLFS often explore sustainable solutions to food systems challenges and often address environmental, economic or social dimensions of food systems. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of British Columbia

A minimum of three references are required for application to graduate programs at UBC. Transcripts, Document Translations: Where academic records are produced in a language other than English, the applicant must arrange for the submission of the official literal translations of all records along with the transcripts. Degree Certificates: In cases where the transcript does not clearly state that a degree has been conferred, a degree certificate is required to accompany the academic record. CV/Resume - required for all applicants, Writing sample - required for research-based applicants, IELTS - International English Language Testing Service A minimum overall band score of 6.5 is required with a minimum score of 6.0 in each component of the ACADEMIC ( not general) test. TOEFL: the minimum TOEFL score required by all Graduate Programs in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems is 577 (paper-based test), 233 (computer-based test) or 90 (internet-based).
