Our program educational objectives are reflected in the achievements of our recent alumni.
Research and/or Practice: Alumni will successfully engage in research and/or practice of environmental engineering within industry, government, and private practice, working toward sustainable solutions in one or more technical specialty. Alumni will be able to synthesize technical knowledge of engineering analysis and design to identify, formulate and solve problems of professional interest and importance.
Professional Growth: Alumni will advance their skills through innovation, professional growth and development activities such as research and doctoral study, professional registration, and continuing education.
Service: Alumni will perform service to society and the engineering profession through membership and participation in professional societies, government, educational institutions, civic organizations, and humanitarian endeavors. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required for international applicants and full-time domestic applicants.
The minimum score required is 79 for the Internet-based TOEFL exam, 213 for the computer-based TOEFL exam, or 550 for the paper-based TOEFL exam. A minimum score of 6.5 with no sub-score lower than 6.0 is required for the IELTS exam.
