About the course

The CEE Department offers two plans leading to the MSE degree for the Civil Engineering option. These are designated: Plan I (Thesis),, Plan II (Non-thesis). The following sections describe the requirements for each of these options. For both options, 50% of the graduate coursework must be at the 600-level or above and students must earn a grade of B or better in all 600-level or above coursework. Students should consult their faculty advisor when selecting courses for their Program of Study. The mission of the Civil Engineering program is to educate students with the fundamental knowledge, and analytical skills necessary for successful careers in civil and environmental engineering. Entry requirements for University of Alabama in Huntsville

Transcripts- Send official transcripts to UAH from any university you have previously attended.

　　For admission to the Graduate School, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree, or equivalent, from an approved institution., All programs except those in the College of Business Administration must have a minimum grade-point average of B (3.0) on the undergraduate record, and Have a minimum total score of 300 on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), Verbal 145, Quantitative 155 and a minimum score of 3.0 on the analytical writing portion.
