About the course
Experienced teachers and professional artists who want to begin an art education career can develop their skills and knowledge through the Master's in Art Education program. This degree prepares you to teach art at all grade levels. It also provides the educational foundation to pursue a career as a museum or community arts professional. In this 36-credit hour program, you’ll learn about curriculum theory and development, multimedia technologies, art education history and literature, art education outside the traditional classroom environment, and art instruction for atypical student populations.
