About the course
The Graduate Program in Computational Science, Mathematics and Engineering (CSME) at UCSD is a campus-wide interdisciplinary M.S. program designed to train the next generation of scientists, mathematicians, and engineers in the use of modern tools of computational science. The CSME M.S. program was initiated by the UCSD Division of Physical Sciences in collaboration with the Jacobs School of Engineering. The CSME M.S. program is a standalone program without specific departmental affiliation and involves most of the science, mathematics, and engineering units associated with UCSD. Entry requirements for University of California - San Diego
Successful applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or the equivalent from an accredited institution in the United States or from a recognized university-level academic institution abroad and at least a B average (3.0 GPA) or its equivalent by the time they enroll. Some exceptional applicants with lower GPAs may be recommended for admission. TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 (paper based test-PBT) or 85 (internet based test-iBT)IELTS with a minimum Band Score of 7
