About the course
Chemical engineers touch all aspects of our lives, such as the production, distribution and maintenance of a safe supply of food and water, medicines that keep us healthy, the clothes that keep us warm, and the fuel that we use for transportation. Below you’ll find more information about working as a chemical engineer and the ISU Chemical and Biological Engineering experience. You can even begin the process of applying for admission with one click. One of the most satisfying aspects of a career in chemical engineering is the broad array of both career paths. As the first head of Iowa State’s chemical engineering department, O. R. Sweeney, often said, “chemical engineers can solve all the world’s problems.” We welcome you as someone who would like to pursue that goal. Scholarships - View all scholarships Internships
