As a student in our MS in Applied Statistics program, you will choose between four specializations - Biostatistics, Environmental Statistics, General Applied Statistics, or Predictive Analytics/Modeling:
The Biostatistics specialization covers non- and pre-clinical statistical methods, bioassay, statistical genetics, clinical trials, and bioinformatics.
The Environmental Statistics specialization addresses Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial statistics, and environmetrics.
The specialization in General Applied Statistics includes non-medical applications such as actuarial, commercial, data-mining, industrial, marketing, and national defense.

Minimum B average in undergraduate coursework.
The General Test of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required for admission.
Official TOEFL (paper) or IBT or IELTS scores. International applicants are required to have earned a score of at least 550 on the TOEFL (paper) examination or 79 on the IBT examination or 6.5 on the IELTS examination.
The minimum GPA (either via transcript evaluation or otherwise) required for admission is 3.0.
