About the course

A Master?s degree in AGEE indicates that the person earning the degree has gained additional knowledge and the necessary skills in the field in order to engage in research and other scholarly activities, to teach, and to become practitioners. Candidates are expected to have a broad knowledge and specific expertise in an area of specialization. All candidates complete foundational work in research and theories of Agricultural and Extension Education. For Teacher Education area of emphasis, students will complete advanced courses in teaching and learning principles. For Extension Education area of emphasis, students will complete advanced courses in program evaluation and change theory. Graduate degree-seeking applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a properly recognized institution. The minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) is 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
