The course provides a mix of foundational and advanced knowledge in both disciplines. Students develop an appreciation of the ways the two fields work together as they gain knowledge and experience in applying concepts in both disciplines. Examples include learning how to balance private and public interests in urban development, how to assess development feasibility, and how to apply the principles of project management.
