About the course
The Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) is designed to train those who do not have an accounting background or who need to up-skill to meet the professional accounting requirements. Students holding an accredited accounting qualification of an Australian institution are not eligible to seek entry into this course.This is a 2 year full-time or 4 year part-time course of study offered by the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics. How to apply
Entry requirements for University of Tasmania (UTAS)
Admission to most postgraduate coursework courses at the University of Tasmania require qualifications equivalent to an Australian bachelor's degree. Applicants must achieve the required grade in their qualifying studies, meet any prerequisite subjects, and meet English language requirements to be eligible for an offer.
For those applicants who are nationals of and currently residing in a country where English is NOT the official language, evidence of an IELTS or TOEFL test must be provided. The Master of Marine and Antarctic Science requires an IELTS (Academic) of 6.0 (no individual band less than 6.0)
