About the course

The MLSt is an advanced degree that situates knowledge and know-how at the intersections of culture, community and profession. Its emphasis on integrative knowledge and cross-disciplinary approach cultivates students' capacity to see and understand the complex reality of societal problems and navigate challenges across cultural, professional and personal contexts. Communication, holistic analysis, perspective-taking and research are featured aspects of all core courses.

　　A unique aspect of the degree is the customization of learning. Working ly with faculty advisors, Master of Liberal Studies students build the majority of their program by choosing from a wide-ranging list of elective courses that best meet their interests and needs. With courses from across the humanities, social sciences, arts, and natural sciences, this degree prepares students to become master learners and problem-solvers. How to apply

Entry requirements for Arizona State University - Kaplan International

Applicants are eligible to apply to the program if they have earned a bachelor's or master's degree, in any field, from a regionally accredited institution.

　　Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00 = A) in the last 60 hours of their first bachelor's degree program, or applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00 = A) in an applicable master's degree program.

　　TOEFL iBT - 80, TOEFL PBT - 550

　　IELTS - 6.5

　　Note: For TOEFL pBT taken prior to Oct. 14, 2017, the minimum score is 550. For TOEFL paper delivered test taken on or after Oct. 14, 2017, the minimum score is 66.
