You may complete the LL.M. degree in two or three semesters and specialize your studies in a variety of areas, or in no particular area at all. In addition to the core LL.M. degree requirements, our academic and faculty advisers will provide guidance in helping you select those courses and opportunities that will help meet your personal and professional goals.
LL.M. students with professional experience and/or academic interests in learning the foundations of American corporate law and its role in international business and economics can enroll in a range of opportunities to specialize their studies and develop exceptional analytic and writing skills.
Each student will receive personalized academic advising and will have the flexibility to enroll in courses such as International Business Transactions, General Counsel, International Trade Law, Mediation, Negotiation Skills, Banking Law, Real Estate Transactions, Business Associations, Accounting for Lawyers, Tax Law, Comparative Law, Bankruptcy Law, Commercial Transactions, Commercial Real Estate Practice, and other courses.
