About the course
Environmental toxicology is a rapidly expanding area of environmental science concerned with understanding the adverse effects of chemical, physical, and biological agents on living organisms. Organisms are continually exposed to and challenged by chemicals in our environment—and environmenal toxicologists are interested in finding scientifically sound answers to questions.
Develop cutting-edge research skills in an innovative and collegial environment. As a graduate student in the Department of Biological Sciences, you will join a community of world-renowned researchers who are not only advancing our understanding of biological processes, but spearheading solutions to real-world issues such as:
biodiversity loss and the conservation of plants and animals at risk
the adverse effects of chemical and physical agents on cells and organisms
the roles of microbes in altering cell morphology and physiology and degrading pollution

How to apply
Entry requirements for Simon Fraser University
A bachelor's degree from Simon Fraser University or its equivalent from a recognized institution. A cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0/4.33 (B), or a grade point average of at least 3.33/4.33 (B+) based on the last 60 credits of undergraduate courses. All graduate work is also considered. Individual graduate programs may set a higher admission grade point average.IELTS overall band score of 7.0 of the academic test with a minimum of 6.5 in each section.Paper-based TOEFL -580 and TWE 5,Internet-based TOEFL 100 with minimum of 20 in each category.
