The DCU MA in Creative Writing aims to unlock the writer in you through an immersion in Drama, Poetry and Fiction. This exciting new course offers an opportunity for early-career and emerging writers to spend a year working with professional writers in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment to develop their work and to foster connections with the wider literary community. How to apply
Entry requirements for Dublin City University
For admission to the MA in Creative Writing, successful applicants will have -
A degree at the level of an Irish or UK Honours undergraduate degree (H2.2 or above) or equivalent, in a Humanities descipline but holders of other degrees or appropriate professional experience should provide information in their personal statement.
Applicants with appropriate combinations of professional qualifications and experience may also be considered. This includes discipline-specific knowledge and know-how, transferable skills, basic research competency, personal effectiveness.
IELTS: Composite score of 6.5 or above, with no less than 6.0 in any one component
TOEFL: 237 (computer-based), 580 (paper-based test), TOEFL iBT: Total Score of 92
