About the course

　　This interdisciplinary and practical course provides you with the opportunity to develop an advanced level understanding of the inter-relationship between law, justice and punishment.

　　Over the course of the programme you will be given the chance to develop social and cultural knowledge and research skills that are relevant to an increasingly global job market.

　　You will have the opportunity to understand real word debates about criminal justice, crime control and security, policing, penality and offender management. A key feature of this programme is its emphasis on developing practice-relevant skills in relation to enhanced subject knowledge. There is a strong emphasis on understanding criminal justice as a social complex where the personal, local, national and global collide.
