About the course
The course is designed for both construction professionals and lawyers. Construction professionals will learn about the legal framework to the construction industry and engage on the legal processes involved in major construction projects, from commissioning to completion. Lawyers will gain a greater understanding of the processes and management of construction projects, as well as in-depth legal expertise relating to such projects. Construction Law offers both an in-person and online version, with both versions offering the same content, with a mix of pre-recorded and live online lectures available. Students will also have access to a wide range of electronic information sources. Construction Professionals Develop Knowledge of The Law Required for Practical Application. How to apply
Entry requirements for University of Strathclyde
Normally a first or upper second-class Honours degree in a related discipline.
Entry may be possible with a lower second-class Honours degree, if you also have suitable professional qualifications and/or considerable appropriate experience.
You're required to have a suitable minimum level of competency in the English language if your first language is not English or if you have not been educated wholly or mainly in the medium of English.
For postgraduate studies, the University of Strathclyde requires a minimum overall score of IELTS 6.5 (with no score below 6.0) or equivalent. Tests are valid for two years.
