Our Law LLM provides a challenging legal education. It is flexible and allows you to explore your own interests whilst developing an advanced knowledge of the principles of law

　　The Law LLM is one of our taught Master of Laws (LLM) courses. It is suitable for graduates of any background. It offers the flexibility to create your bespoke curriculum to match your legal interests and career aspirations.

　　The Law LLM will give you the knowledge, insights and analytical skills to enhance your career in practice, business or academia. If you're pursuing another career path, this Master's will enhance your understanding of law and its impact on society.

　　Dedicated one-to-one support is also given to help you research and write a dissertation on an area of law you feel passionate about.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Newcastle University

A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in law or any other subject.

　　We will also consider applications on an individual basis if you have lower or non-standard qualifications or experience in professional legal practice.

　　IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.5 in writing, and 5.5 in all other sub-skills).

　　TOEFL 90 overall (with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, and 22 in writing).
