About the course

The Criminal Justice LLM allows you to gain in-depth comparative knowledge of global criminal justice and domestic systems around the world, including their regional and transnational interactions. Understand different systems of criminal justice (for example civil vs common law, or international criminal law) and investigate the challenges that police, prosecutors, judges, victims and policymakers face in a global environment. You will consider multiple aspects of criminal law and justice, including issues of terrorism and human rights, migration, international crime, cybercrime, corporate violence and economic crime, and mental health law. Your studies will encompass the laws in different jurisdictions and how they are applied internationally. Please note that not all modules will be available in any one year.

　　You will be offered a varied selection of taught modules from which you can choose, enabling you to gear your qualification to set you on your desired career trajectory. You do not have to choose your modules until you have had the opportunity to learn about them in greater detail during your comprehensive induction period.
