About the course

Georgetown Law offers a wide range of courses that prepare lawyers for the increasingly complex legal and policy debates surrounding communication technology and intellectual property rights.Students can also gain valuable experience in the field through clinics and practicum courses in areas of technology and privacy law.Our faculty includes top experts in the law and regulation of our increasingly information-based society, including nationally-recognized scholars in areas such as privacy, pharmaceutical patents, trademark law, copyright theory, improving access to civil justice through technology and the ways that technology is changing the practice of law itself. With experience in key posts at federal agencies and in the private and nonprofit sectors, our faculty also brings a real-world perspective to the classroom. Entry requirements for Georgetown University

Your resume should describe your work experience, extracurricular or volunteer activities, academic institutions attended, and any academic honors or awards.

　　All applicants must register with LSAC?s Credential Assembly Service (CAS) in order to transmit academic transcripts to Georgetown Law.

　　All applicants are required to submit an LSAT, GRE, or GMAT score received within the last five years.

　　an official transcript, school report or letter (signed and dated) from an educational institution where the language of instruction is English showing a minimum gpa equivalency of 3.0

　　Georgetown Law requires only one letter of recommendation, but additional letters or evaluations are welcome.

　　A minimum TOEFL score of 550 paper-based or 80 internet based, or an IELTS of at least 7.0
