About the course
To earn one of the Natural Resources Systems concentrations, students must obtain a minimum of 16 credits in core and related courses. Students also must achieve a minimum grade point average of 2.33 in each graded course used to satisfy the requirements. Courses offered for a grade may not be taken pass/fail in satisfaction of concentration requirements. In unique circumstances or in the event that new relevant courses are added to the curriculum, course substitution may be permitted following consultation with and approval from the faculty advisor to the respective concentration. In addition, up to 6 credits from part‐time or short‐term externships or up to 10 credits from a residential, semester‐ or summer‐long externship may be substituted for courses toward a concentration following consultation with and approval from the faculty advisor to the respective concentration. A course taken in fulfillment of a Natural Resources Systems concentration may be applied to no more than two Natural Resources Systems concentrations. Entry requirements for Texas A and M University - College Station
Earned Baccalaureate Degree or its Equivalent - Applicants for admission must have an earned bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the Department of Education. Foreign educated applicants must possess a degree equivalent to a U.S. baccalaureate.
Two Letters of Recommendation.
Official Academic Transcripts - ALL transcripts from undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools attended, including final transcripts reflecting the conferral of all degrees earned (associates, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral), must be submitted.
Descriptive Résumé- Be sure to include details about your educational background, honor societies, military service, extracurricular activities, public/community service, honors and awards, publications, foreign language proficiencies, and any other significant achievements and involvements.
Personal Statement- A typed, double-spaced document not exceeding two pages. There is no specific format or prompt for the personal statement. It is an opportunity for the Admissions Committee to learn about the applicant, as well as evaluate his or her writing ability.
The recommended minimum score for the TOEFL is 100 on the internet-based test (TOEFL-iBt). The recommended minimum score for the IELTS is 7.0.
TOEFL - 550 for paper-based testing (p-BT) or 80 internet-based testing (i-BT). A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall band.
