These roles can be found in a variety of settings in the public and private sectors as well as in teaching and research.Upon admission to the History M.A. program, each student is assigned an adviser from among the History faculty. The student may elect to change advisers, but must do so within the first year. Students must meet with their advisers and submit a Memorandum of Courses before completing 18 hours of coursework.
