About the course

When you enroll in the Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) program at the IU McKinney School of Law, you will gain knowledge that you'll use to transfrom lives and make a difference. The curriculum will help you understand the law at every level, from the most abstract concepts to the fundamentals. You?ll also gain the practical skills you need to succeed in the legal profession of your choosing. The goal of the McKinney J.D. program is to prepare you for a successful legal career. How to apply

Entry requirements for Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis

Have received a baccalaureate or equivalent degree from an approved college or university. At least 90 credit hours of your undergraduate work must be in academic rather than skills-training courses.

　　When considering your application, the Admissions Committee will look first at your undergraduate grade point average (UGPA) and LSAT score.

　　Take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT)

　　Register for the LSAC's Credential Assembly Service (CAS).

　　Forward your transcripts, for any institution you have ever attended, to CAS .
