How to apply

Entry requirements for The University of Sydney

Admission to candidature for the Graduate Diploma in Art Curating requires:

  a bachelor's degree with a major in Anthropology, Archaeology, Art History, Cultural Geography, Cultural Studies, Education, English, Gender Studies, History, Indigenous Studies or related field and a minimum 60% average calculated over the whole degree, from the University of Sydney, or an equivalent qualification, or

  completion of the Graduate Certificate in Art Curating with a minimum credit (65%) average, or an equivalent qualification.

  You can progress from the Graduate Certificate to a Graduate Diploma or Masters, or from a Graduate Diploma to Masters in the same subject area, after successful completion of the shorter course.

  IELTS score A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band

  Toefl Pbt A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing

  Toefl ibt A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
