About the course

The Graduate Certificate of Project Management will refresh and add to your existing skills and provide newcomers with the foundations needed to be effective and innovative members of project teams.

　　The Certificate’s four units – Strategic Project Management, Project Management for Innovative Outcomes, the Risk Management Spectrum and Operations Management – will teach you strong technical and strengthened people skills.

　　Guest speakers – who include Project Directors, Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters – will explore agile leadership in a range of innovative projects.

　　From simulations, role plays, case studies and teamwork you will learn to assess what projects need and how to use the latest methodologies and tools.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Swinburne University of Technology

Standard entry,-Successful completion of an undergraduate degree in any discipline equivalent to an Australian Bachelor degree.

　　Non-standard entry- A special entry provision is available for applicants without a formal qualifications but who have significant relevant project management work experience* (usually at least five years) and evidence of academic capability (e.g. successful completion of a non-cognate degree, a certificate or diploma course at a TAFE with high grades).

　　Swinburne’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 70%, all skills 65%

　　minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0

　　TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 79 with a reading band no less than 18 and writing band no less than 20

　　Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 58 (no communicative skills less than 50)

　　any other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency.
