About the course
The Graduate Certificate of Building & Construction Information Management (GC-BCIM) aims to develop the body of knowledge and professional practice in modelling, exchanging and implementing building and construction information. The course is designed to assist architects, building practitioners and construction engineers with consolidating the fundamental theories of BIM, technology-oriented BIM training, strengthening the modelling and simulation skills and enhancing the future competencies required for digital built environment. How to apply
Entry requirements for University of Canberra
Most admissions for coursework degrees are granted based on the successful completion of a bachelor’s degree, however your academic performance or grades may also be taken into consideration for some postgraduate courses.
You can still apply for certain postgraduate courses even if you haven’t completed an undergraduate degree.
We’ll consider non-tertiary qualifications plus paid work experience or professional memberships as the equivalent to a bachelor’s degree for postgraduate entry if you have:
completed an Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree plus 4 years full-time paid work experience at managerial or professional level or a professional membership
completed a Diploma plus 8 years full-time paid work experience at managerial or professional level or a professional membership
completed Year 12 or a Certificate IV plus 10 years full-time paid work experience at managerial or professional level or a professional membership.
IELTS Academic score of 6.5 overall, with no band score below 6.0 (or equivalent).
TOEFL IBT - Overall score of 79 with( R- 13, L- 12, S- 18, W- 21)
