About the course

The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology currently offers Graduate Certificates in fives areas: Analytical Chemistry, Computational Chemistry and Biology, Drug Discovery, Laboratory Methods in Chemical Biology and Polymer Chemistry. Students in these certificate programs must meet the same admission and performance standards as regular degree graduate students. Each of the certificate programs requires twelve credits (four courses), all of which are transferable to the appropriate master?s degree program.

　　Analytical chemistry is a field of science that focuses on obtaining qualitative and quantitative information about the composition and structure of material. The analytical chemistry graduate certificate program provides students with a solid foundation in analytical chemistry. Students will learn fundamentals of separation techniques, spectroscopic methods, physical characterization of materials, and analytical method development procedures. How to apply

Entry requirements for Stevens Institute of Technology

Two letters of recommendation. Letters must be submitted electronically through the online application system. Official college transcripts from all institutions attended. Transcripts must be submitted in sealed envelopes and mailed directly to Stevens. If official documents are unavailable, unofficial documents can be uploaded through the online application system for initial review only. However, applicants will not be fully admitted until all official documents have been received. TOEFL iBT: 86 and above, TOEFL PBT: 567 and above, IELTS: 7 and above.
