About the course
The graduate academic certificate in storytelling provides students with comprehensive knowledge of the role of storytelling in enabling children and adults to understand and make meaning in their lives. Story is the richest heritage of human civilizations. Storytelling has emerged from the oral tradition into modern platforms represented in books, dance, music, theatre, movies, etc. Story preserves, perpetuates, and transforms culture and is finding new applications in education, corporations, industry, and entertainment. Entry requirements for University of North Texas
Applicants holding a bachelor’s degree, its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. If admitted, original and official documents will be required before you can register for classes. Official transcripts are required for all U.S. schools attended before processing your application. Transcripts should be sent to the Toulouse Graduate School which will be reviewed and then sent to the academic department for an admission decision. UNT degree program applicants must demonstrate English Language Proficiency. Minimum TOEFL score requirement is 79 iBT, 213 computer, 550pBT, Minimum IELTS score is 6.0. 3.0 GPA in the undergraduate degree for admission to the Master’s program.
