About the course

At the Telfer Executive MBA Program, we believe that true acceleration of growth and transformation happens within an environment where interactions are in-person and multi-dimensional - where it is ?live?. Our ?live? program is deliberately designed for mid-career and senior level executives who seek a Global, Practical and Relevant experience all while earning a graduate degree.

　　Our comprehensive, real-world curriculum focuses on leadership, teamwork and cross-cultural collaboration. The curriculum is tightly connected through our Signature Series of Six Business Consulting Projects, two of which are global in focus and involve two international business trips. These projects are true accelerators of learning, by moving you well beyond the classroom environment, getting you to roll up your sleeves and actively engage in the work with client organizations to answer business challenges in real-time. You will directly apply what you are learning within class by bringing it into the field.

Prerequisites for Admission

　　An undergraduate degree with a minimum 70% average or significant work experience,

　　At least 5 years work experience (although candidates have on average 15 years work experience),

　　Interview with the Director

　　A letter of intent describing your suitability for the Telfer Executive MBA Program

　　Additional information you believe may be useful to gain admission to the Program,

　　Official transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions,

　　Two confidential letters of recommendation from either current or former supervisors,

　　A letter from your current employer providing support for your enrollment,

　　Business Case study analysis,

　　In some cases, results from a recent Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT),

　　In some cases, evidence of proficiency in English.

　　A score of at least 250 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), with a score of at least 5 on the Test of Written English (TWE) and a score of at least 50 on the Test of Spoken English (TSE).

　　A score of at least 7 in at least three of the four International English Language Testing System (IELTS) tests (Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking) and at least 6 in the fourth.
