About the course

The Ph.D. in pathology provides opportunities for graduate training in fundamentals of modern pathobiology, immunology, and investigative microbiology, with an emphasis on a multi-disciplinary approach to research problems. Study naturally occurring animal disease and host response in a variety of species, including cancer, inflammatory, and infectious diseases. The program will not only provide a strong foundation in a selected discipline, but also involves research in progressive areas such as emerging diseases, comparative oncology, interdisciplinary/systems biology, and translational medicine. How to apply

Entry requirements for Colorado State University

Official transcripts or mark sheets and any certificates, diplomas, or degrees from each college or university attended is required regardless of the length of attendance, including courses in progress. A minimum of three (3) letters of recommendation are required from previous instructors or employers who are able to comment on your abilities and potential for graduate study. TOEFL score for admission without condition is 550 (paper based), or 80 (internet based). IELTS score for admission without condition is 6.5.

　　The minimum requirement to apply is a bachelor's level degree (B.S. or B.A.) in a biomedical or related field. International students must have completed an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree from a college or university of recognized standing. A 3.0 GPA in undergraduate or other graduate work is required.
