Admission to the Ph.D. program in chemistry requires an undergraduate preparation that includes organic chemistry (1 year), physical chemistry (1 year), analytical chemistry (1 year, including instrumental analysis) and other advanced chemistry courses, as well as adequate preparation in physics and calculus. A prior master's degree in chemistry, biology, chemical biology, chemical engineering or biomedical engineering is preferred
