Miami is the perfect place to experience and investigate the tropical atmosphere in a changing climate. With an expanding faculty and curriculum, now is an ideal opportunity to begin your education in Atmospheric Sciences (ATM) graduate program at the Rosenstiel School.
The ATM program is designed to prepare students with the tools, training, and education necessary to tackle critical research problems in the atmospheric sciences today. Our faculty are experts in a wide range of research areas, including tropical meteorology, climate dynamics, cloud and aerosol processes, and atmospheric chemistry. How to apply
Entry requirements for University of Miami
Originals of all undergraduate and graduate official transcripts (photocopies are not accepted). Official scores from recent Graduate Record Examinations (within five years), including the aptitude portion, (photocopies of scores are not accepted). Paper Based TOEFL (PBT): 550, Internet Based TOEFL (IBT): 80, IELTS (Academic): 6.5. Students applying to the Ph.D. program with a prior Master’s degree must include with their application an abstract of the thesis or reprints or manuscripts of scientific work.
