About the course

Intellectual property is one of the fastest-growing legal specialties in the United States, and increasingly in the world. Notre Dame Law School?s Program of Study in Intellectual Property and Technology Law prepares students to practice in a wide variety of intellectual property-related fields. Our faculty teach basic and advanced courses in the core doctrines of intellectual property ? patent, copyright, trademark and unfair competition?and related fields including design, cyberlaw, and antitrust. Prominent practicing IP lawyers serve as adjunct professors, bringing their specialized expertise to the classroom and providing valuable mentoring and networking opportunities for students. And students can develop important practice skills through externships and/or participation in our unique Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic. Entry requirements for University of Notre Dame

A Juris Doctor from an A.B.A. approved American law school or a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from an accredited college or university

　　An LL.M. degree or its equivalent from an approved or accredited law school or evidence that the applicant is in the process of satisfactorily completing the requirements for the LL.M. degree or its equivalent.

　　Personal Statement addressing the applicant’s reasons for wishing to pursue the J.S.D. degree

　　These requirements include a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, as well as an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale.
