The Diploma of Legal Studies will teach students core skills to enhance their career prospects, whether that be a student fresh out of school or someone wishing to upgrade their qualifications. Some core skills covered include, familiarity with the fundamental features of Australia’s legal system, the principles of business law and contract law, contemporary legal and ethical issues confronting Australian society, communicating in groups, conflict resolution, problem solving, individual and group decision making, and an understanding of ethics, morals and cultural beliefs.
