About the course
The General Studies Diploma is UFV?s most flexible, transfer-friendly diploma program. Use it as a stand-alone credential (two-year, 60-credit) or as your foundation for further university studies. Choose from a wide range of courses and select those that match your interests and goals. Transfer students can also use up to 45 university-level credits to meet the requirements of the diploma. The program can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis, and international students are welcome to apply. You The Diploma ladders directly into the Bachelor of Integrated Studies degree. You may also choose to apply to another degree program (BA, BSW, BSc, BA in ADED, BBA, etc.) after completing your General Studies Diploma. If your goal is to complete a degree, it is highly recommended that you complete the first- and second-year requirements of the planned degree program while in the General Studies Diploma program. Make an appointment with an academic advisor to see if this program is right for you. The advisor will help you to identify your learning goals and devise a personalized plan for your studies. International students applying to UFV for the first time to complete the General Studies Diploma should contact UFV International. Scholarships - View all scholarships Internships
