About the course
The Paralegal Studies - Litigation Certificate of Achievement-Advanced sequence prepares students to work under the supervision of an attorney in a litigation practice, in-house (corporate) legal department, government agency or nonprofit organization. Paralegal duties in a litigation practice include performing factual and legal research, drafting legal documents and correspondence, interviewing clients and witnesses, assisting attorneys in pretrial work, including document discovery and analysis, assisting attorneys at trials and hearings, organizing and maintaining case files, and coordinating the use of technology in legal work. How to apply
Entry requirements for De Anza College
Upload a copy or original proof of English proficiency test score, taken within the last 2 years (ex: if the year is 2018, your test must have been taken between 2016-2018). A minimum score on any of the following examinations is required for admission - TOEFL - 61 iBT or TOEFL PBT 46 or higher. IELTS/ IELTS Indicator - 5.5.
